María Rosa Núñez and Óscar Martínez new CEO and CCO of Saatchi & Saatchi Spain
Publicis Communications Spain has announced changes in the management of Saatchi & Saatchi Spain from January 1. María Rosa Núñez, as CEO, and Óscar Martínez, Chief Creative Officer, will jointly co-lead the creative agency of Publicis Groupe based in Barcelona. Alba Guzmán, until now CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi, leaves the agency to undertake new professional projects.
These changes are included in the reorganization of the agencies that are part of Publicis Communications, inspired by the need to adapt the structures of the Publicis group to the new needs of the market and in the search for efficiencies in the process of creative transformation.
Since 2017, María Rosa Núñez held the position of General Management of Clients at Saatchi & Saatchi, where she joined in 2002. During her professional career, María Rosa has worked with a wide variety of industries and clients: beauty, health, nutrition, banking, retail & distribution or new technologies, among others, which has allowed her to develop projects in various disciplines, from conventional advertising, direct and promotional marketing, health communication, digital campaigns, etc.
For his part, Óscar Martínez joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 2016, after nine years working at Publicis España as Creative Director. He has led projects and campaigns for brands such as Coca Cola, Carrefour, Renault, Mixta, Cadena Ser, Grupo Calvo, Bankia, Movistar, FAD, Primitiva … He has won multiple awards at festivals such as El Sol (Grand Prix, Gold, Silver and Bronze), FIAP (Gold, silver and bronze), Ondas 2010, Ondas best agency 2015, Clio Awards, Award for Advertising Effectiveness 2011, World Cup Radio, Silver Yearbook CdC 2011 and, recently, has been awarded with a Gold in CdC for the campaign of La Primitiva.
